CINOC Laboratory Testing

At Chaoshi Group CINOC Lab, we rigorously pre-test all materials through comprehensive analysis and strict ASTM standard compliance to fine-tune processing parameters. This systematic approach allows us to transform complex material challenges into high- performance engineered solutions, laying a robust foundation for subsequent processing and end- product applications.

CINOC Lab

CINOC provides specialized rock testing services essential for determining the strength and durability of rock materials. These services form the technical basis for establishing accurate design parameters in development projects. Using advanced testing methods, we analyze fundamental rock properties to deliver critical insights that support informed decision-making and contribute to successful project outcomes.

For All Stone Materials:

• Young’s Modulus

• Unconfined Compressive Strength

• Strength Testing

• Moisture Content

• Water Absorption Rate

• Abrasion Resistance Test

Laboratory Testing Standard

At Chaoshi CINOC LAB, we rigorously pre-test all materials through comprehensive analysis and strict ASTM standard compliance to fine-tune processing parameters. This systematic approach allows us to transform complex material challenges into high-performance engineered solutions, laying a robust foundation for subsequent processing and end-product applications.

UCS Testing

The mechanical testing protocol employed a displacement-controlled loading system operating at a constant strain rate of 1.0 mm/min, in accordance with standard geotechnical testing procedures. Strength values were determined from the peak stresses recorded in the resulting stress- strain curves. A more than 10% variation in measured UCS values would be discarded from the analysis to ensure data reliability.

Durability Testing

For Cold Climates (e.g., Canada, Russia): The freeze-thaw cycle test is essential. It proves the stone can withstand winters without cracking. Water that enters the pores freezes, expands, and can shatter the stone. For Humid Climates (e.g., Southeast Asia): The water absorption test itself is most important. A wet-dry cycle can discover the durability of stone under cyclic environmental changes.

Mechanical Properties

Evaluating the core physical and mechanical properties of stone through testing can reveal its durability and applicability from multiple dimensions, serving as a key scientific basis for stone classification, pricing, and selection of application fields.
